EV Charger Installation done properly

EV charger installation is our specialty — it's most of what we do, week in, week out. We install and configure all the major AC chargers: myenergi Zappi, Tesla Wall Connector, Sigenergy, GoodWe, Fox ESS, SolarEdge and more. Single phase or three phase, standalone or solar-integrated so you charge from your own panels first. Every install starts with your switchboard: we check capacity, protection and cabling before quoting, so the price you get is the price you pay.

Solar-smart charging

Chargers like the Zappi can divert excess solar straight into your car — effectively free kilometres. If you have panels, or plan to, tell us and we'll spec a charger that makes the most of them.

Single or three phase?

Single phase (7kW) suits most overnight charging. Three phase (up to 22kW) charges roughly three times faster — worth it for high-kilometre drivers or homes that already have three-phase supply. We'll tell you straight which one your driving actually needs.

The switchboard question

An EV charger is one of the biggest loads in your home. Older boards often need an upgrade or load management before a charger can go in legally and safely — we assess this upfront and include it in your fixed quote, never as a surprise extra.

Rebates & paperwork

Rebate programs for chargers and electrification change regularly in Victoria — ask us what's current when you book and we'll factor any eligible savings into your quote. Every install comes with a Certificate of Electrical Safety.

Watch: how we install

Thirty seconds, one real job — from switchboard to charged car. No shortcuts, no mess left behind, certificate issued on completion.

Every install is planned around your board, your parking spot and your solar — then done in a single visit wherever possible.

Straight answers

How much does a home EV charger installation cost?

Most standard single-phase installs land in a fairly tight range once we've seen your board and the cable run — but every home is different. Send us a photo of your switchboard and where the car parks and we'll fix-price it, usually same day.

Which EV charger brand is best?

Depends on your setup. Solar owners usually get the most from a Zappi or a charger matched to their inverter brand (Sigenergy, GoodWe, SolarEdge, Fox ESS). Tesla owners often want the Wall Connector. We install them all and we'll recommend based on your car, solar and budget — not on what's sitting on our shelf.

Can I just use a normal powerpoint to charge?

You can trickle-charge from a standard outlet, but it's slow (roughly 10–15km of range per hour) and prolonged max-load running on ordinary circuits isn't ideal. A dedicated wall charger is faster, safer and adds value to the home.

Do you install chargers in apartments and townhouses?

Yes, where the owners corporation approves and supply allows — we handle metering, load management and cable runs to allocated parking. It's more involved than a house install, but very doable.
