Three phase is often worth it here
Where three-phase supply exists, a three-phase charger cuts charging time to roughly a third. Plenty of larger Mount Eliza homes already have it at the meter box and don't know. We check before quoting.

Home EV charging installed, tested and certified by a local licensed team. Zappi, Tesla, Evnex, Sigenergy and more, solar-integrated, fixed-quoted from a photo of your switchboard.
Mount Eliza EV installs are rarely just a charger on a wall. More often it's part of a bigger picture, solar already on the roof, a battery planned, sometimes three-phase supply available and worth using. We plan the whole thing so each step builds on the last.

Mount Eliza's battle-axe blocks and gated driveways — Ranelagh especially — can put the garage 40 metres or more from the switchboard. That's a voltage-drop calculation, not a guess: we size the run so a 7kW charger actually delivers 7kW at the far end.
Plenty of larger Mount Eliza homes have or can take three-phase supply, which unlocks 22kW-capable charging and headroom for pool, workshop and heat pump loads on top. If the house suits it, we'll price the single-phase and three-phase options side by side.
On architectural homes the charger placement and cable route matter as much as the electrics. Concealed runs, colour-matched conduit and a mounting position that doesn't fight the façade — it's your home's street face, we treat it that way.
Board assessment, dedicated circuit, protection, cable run, charger mounting, commissioning and a Certificate of Electrical Safety. One fixed price, agreed before we start.
Board checked, dedicated cable run, charger mounted, tested and certified. This is what the job actually looks like.

We're brand-agnostic — Zappi, Tesla, Evnex, Sigenergy, GoodWe, SolarEdge and more, matched to your car and your solar. See the full rundown on our EV charger page or the charger buying guide.
Including Mount Eliza village, Ranelagh, Kunyung, Canadian Bay and Humphries Road, and everywhere across the Peninsula and South East Melbourne.
Standard single-phase installs start from $750 for the electrical work. The final price depends on your switchboard, the cable run and whether any board work is needed. Send a photo of your switchboard and where you park and we'll come back with a fixed quote, usually the same day.
If you have solar, a Zappi or a charger matched to your inverter brand gets you the most value. Tesla drivers usually want the Wall Connector. Otherwise it comes down to budget and whether you want app control and load management. We install them all and recommend based on your car and setup, not on what we stock.
Sometimes. An EV charger is one of the largest continuous loads in a home, and older boards without safety switches or spare capacity can't take one legally. We assess this before quoting and include it in the fixed price if needed. Never as a surprise extra.
Single phase (about 7kW) adds roughly 40km of range per hour, which covers overnight charging for most drivers comfortably. Three phase (up to 22kW) is around three times faster and worth it for high-kilometre drivers or homes that already have three-phase supply.
You can trickle charge from a standard outlet, but it's slow (roughly 10–15km of range per hour) and running near-maximum load for hours on an ordinary circuit isn't ideal long term. A dedicated wall charger is faster, safer and adds value to the home.
Standard install: half a day. Long driveway runs and three-phase upgrades push it to a full day or two visits — the quote spells out which, and the price is fixed either way.
Victorian rebates and incentives for chargers and electrification change regularly. Ask us what's current when you book and we'll factor anything you're eligible for into your quote.
Yes, where the owners corporation approves and the supply allows. We handle metering, load management and the cable run to your allocated space. More involved than a house install, but very doable.
